I'm sorry to bring up a touchy subject but according to researchers at Imperial College London, small levels of air pollution can still be enough to cause significant health risks including early death, according to a new scientific study. It's based on their findings on long-term monitoring of air quality in different areas of the UK, and national data on the cause of death. A spokesman for Friends of the Earth Cymru (that's Wales to the rest of the world - Ed) said transport was the “big cause of air pollution." Next the zealots will be telling us that we should all be going everywhere on horseback.
As a 76-year-old friend of mine said, after reading a report that they'd discovered some new cancer cure. "I'm wondering what I shall be allowed to die of."
