Britain is Crap

It's official - Britain has a crap airline and air transport system. According to a report in the Daily Telegraph flights from UK airports generated a third of the 18,000 complaints received by regulators in the union's member states, according to research by the European Commission. Britain also topped the league table of shame when it came to passengers demanding compensation for being denied a seat on a flight for which they had paid because it had been overbooked.

Of course it's not as simple as saying that Britain is crap but there's no denying that things have got worse. Add to this the fact that as we've been saying consistently - Brits expect champagne at beer prices. It's all about expectations.
