What Am I Bid?

In a move that could pre-empt airline reservations in the future Singapore Airlines, the first airline scheduled to fly Airbus' A380 commercially, will auction seats on the super jumbo’s first flight on eBay and donate the money to charity.

"To respond to large demand from a public wanting to fly on the very first flight of the A380, Singapore Airlines has decided to put all the seats on this first flight up for auction on eBay," the airline said on Wednesday.

The initial paid flight on the double-decker plane, which costs $319 million, will go from Singapore to Sydney, Australia. Singapore Airlines says it expects to get the aircraft from Airbus in October, although a date for the first flight hasn't been set, it said.

Maybe Ryanair will start selling all its seats that way?
