Air Travel Growth - It's Global

With the news today that the Conservative Party in Britain is taking the moral high ground over air travel they would do well to reflect on what is about to happen in India if predictions are correct. CUrrently for every 1,000 Indians they make only 20 air trips in a year against 60 and 2,300 trips made by the Chinese and Americans. The Chamber of Commerce has suggested that if India wants its air travel penetration to grow, it would have to put in place sound infrastructure facilities for both national and international tourists and increase the number of its fleet to about 1,000 aircraft.
