The aptly named Tide, the Nigerian newspaper based at Port Harcourt reports the IATA figure for passenger growth worldwide in the first half of 2007 show a 5.9% rise over last year. Add to this the fact that around 1,800 new aircraft are due to be delivered over the next 18 months and then remind yourself that things will only get worse for air travellers.
Unless of course oil prices keep rising and demand takes a hit. Then what's going to happen?
