Look Before you Leap

The airline industry's favourite self-publicist has been at it again, but spare a thought for poor Richard Branson as his latest wheeze deviated from plan a bit. The bearded billionaire was to scatter free plane tickets while bungee jumping from the Palms Casino hotel in Las Vegas last week. Sir Richard got all dolled up in a dinner suit and took the plunge, only for the cord to snag, his trousers to rip at the seat and for him to be left dangling up against the side of the hotel. Still, maybe he got more publicity as a result of the misfire...
