Return of the Las Palmas Six

Six men have appeared in court after alleged disturbances on a flight into Aberdeen. The less than magnificent six were named as Ryan Massie, 24, Hugh MacLeod, 23, Gary Moar, 40, Ryan Gunn, 34, Craig Cameron, 33, and Andrew Morrisey, 29, all of whom denied the various charges. They were arrested after a flight chartered by an oil industry company landed in Aberdeen from Las Palmas. Mr Gunn was also charged with exposing himself. All six were released at Aberdeen Sheriff Court to face trial next February.

The six men allegedly refused to obey the captain's orders to wear their safety belts. They are also alleged to have been acting in an aggressive manner, singing and shouting on the plane. Mr Cameron allegedly seized hold of an air stewardess and touched her on the leg. The plane involved in Sunday's incident was a Boeing 737 with 55 people on board and was chartered by Petrolia Drilling from the company Astraeus. Sounds like they were a bit too well oiled.
